We are a youth organisation that is looking to provide opportunities for children from all backgrounds to enjoy making music.   Brass banding has a strong role in the musical heritage of Wales and the mining community.  Originally, the pits themselves provided some of the funding for the early bands, and over the years playing developed and it was supported and encouraged within schools and as part of the Music syllabus.   This meant that children from all financial backgrounds had opportunities to learn and play a Brass Instrument.

Things have changed dramatically, and the opportunities for children to learn are now not so common.   Our organisation wishes to continue to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn regardless of their financial status.  But to do this we financial support.  There are many ways that businesses, organisations or individuals can support us.
